A Day's Coffee

Happy new year 2008 everyone! (AGAIN)

Hopefully it'll be a yet more productive year.

My boyfriend got home on first January but he and I only got to meet up again only yesterday.  My God how I missed him.

I met him at about half past seven in the evening, and I was just finished my big fortnightly stock purchasing.  I had Flatwhite at Starbucks earlier.
We went to Gloria Jean's; I had Cappuccino and he Coffee? Vanilla Chiller.  I didn't know how long it's been but there's a 50% discount for Mandiri credit card holders for their drinks and 25% for their food.  And their food wasn't even expensive.  What can I say?--I'm a coffee fan.

There are in general three coffee shops I'm a fan of, Starbucks, Excelso, and Gloria Jean's.  A cup of Cappuccino at Starbucks (tall) is 25K (VAT included), Excelso 25K (net), and Gloria Jean's 20K (net).  !!! :P

Happy New Year 2008

Has it not been a while since I last posted anything here!  I'm positive from now on I'll be posting more frequently.

I've had my share of going into different relationships and breaking up throughout this whole year, to the point where I've begun feeling rather inert to start another one.  It would take more than a Rilke to persuade me otherwise.  The other day Jensen asked me, "Do you feel like everything around you is changing, but you are frozen in time?"  It takes one to know one, he as well said.

But that is that, and this is this.  I'm thinking I must've been such a bastard--one way or another, I do expect people to read into the little, reductive aspects behind every of my actions.

Lately I've been rather fretful of my skin and shape.  I'm subscribing to a local gym and striving for a six-pack, and hopefully by midyear 2008 it'll all come to fruition.  I've always practised skin-care since I was small; I used to always use either Shiseido The Skincare or Lancome Hydra Zen (along the way I've tried Clinique, H2O, SK-II, and Shiseido Men).  But I figured either too expensive now that I've gotta earn them on my own; and thus I gave Missha a try.  I've done a little research on the company.  Their approach, which has given them quite a success outside Indonesia, has been complimented by many.  Somehow I don't find their skincare regimens all too convincing, though.  But anyway, I bought myself the entire Illuminating regimen, and it's great.

Christmas

Hello:

It's been a while since I last posted anything here.  Didn't really feel like either, strange.  Oh anyway, Pidde's gotten my Christmas card and that's odd because he's the first to get it among all of these overseas friends that I also sent Christmas cards to--he's in Sweden; I'm in Indonesia; and the rest are from Australia, Japan, and Singapore.  I'm also happy that the card didn't get lost in the way.  And also because he told me that his mom was all "ooooh what a nice card."
Today I'll be going to Bali.  Well, that's the plan anyway.  The thing is, now I'm not sure I would.  I got a cold, and I've been vomitting a lot; also, my throat is sore like crap.  At this rate, I really don't feel like going.  We're gonna go there by ferry/ship, and we're going to stay at my friend's villa.  Well, I'm not sure really.  I also think I need some change, though.

Anyway, Merry Christmas all!

Calendar

So two days ago my aunt suddenly called me outta the blue asking if I could make her a calendar, which she's going to print and distribute for her company.  Of course, I couldn't refuse it as I'll get paid for it, although I couldn't ask for much either.  Only problem is she told me to come over there and get the photographs she wanted me to scan and use as materials for the calendar--what if it turns out that her photos are small, or not good enough, or bent, or something.  See it this way: photographs are META-Reality, so scanned photographs are META-META-Reality, and I don't know--I wouldn't expect them to be of brilliant quality.  Well, I have yet to see her.
By the way, I wanna recommend this CD Damien Rice - O.  I've fallen in love with his voice.  I actually want to recommend more but time's up. Ciao!
